Nick Zimmerman

Nick entered the financial services industry in 2018 joining an independent financial planning group based out of Covington, Louisiana. This is where he was successful in helping families meet their financial planning needs. During his time there he earned multiple insurance and securities licenses including those for Health and Life Insurance, along with securities licenses from FINRA including series 6 and 65 licenses.

Nick has been fortunate over the past few years as his client’s needs lead him to form Zion Capital, LLC. His wide-ranging experience with custom-tailored financial planning has lead Nick and Zion Capital, LLC to make financial planning simple for all folks that are served. Nick is an advocate of education and is currently pursuing his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation.

Nick graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s in Leadership and Human Resource Development.

Outside of pursing his goal to serve one thousand families with their finances, Nick’s favorite things to do are spend time with his wife, Leah Zimmerman, and two golden retrievers: Blu and Lady Zimmerman. In addition to this, Nick enjoys golfing, occasional trips to Walt Disney World, and serving his local church at The Chapel in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where you will catch him playing drums on Sunday mornings.

Daniel Carter

Daniel entered the banking and financial services industry in 2005. Throughout his career, Daniel has earned multiple insurance and securities licenses including those for Commercial Lending, Health and Life Insurance, along with securities licenses from FINRA including series 7 and 66 licenses.

Daniel has gained experience throughout his career from local banking and financial services institutions such as Fidelity Bank, Metairie Bank, and Edward Jones. Daniel has a long track record of successfully serving families in the greater Northshore area.

Daniel graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a bachelor’s in Accounting.

Outside of pursing his goal to help families achieve financial freedom, Daniel’s favorite things to do are spend quality time with his wife, Hannah Carter, and children. In addition to this, Daniel enjoys serving his local church at the Generations Church in Pearl River, Louisiana. Daniel and Hannah serve as elders and youth pastors at Generations Church.
